DDSGermany is a non-profit organization with growing importance for German-Philippine relations
Today I have an appointment with Mrs. Elizabeth Falk. She was born in the Philippines and has been living in Germany for many years. Mrs. Falk knows both countries and feels at home in both countries. So she had the idea to found the association DDSGermany to promote the cultural exchange between both countries and above all to help people who are in need in the Philippines or Filipinos who are in need here. During the last devastating storm catastrophe in the Philippines the association called for donations and the money was donated to the flood victims.
1) Oliver Gaebe, www.bellacoola.de:
"Good day Elizabeth. Nice that you have today time for our discussion, please introduce yourselves once.
Elizabeth Falk, https://ddsgermany.de/:
"I am Elizabeth, married and have a son. I come from the Philippines, but have lived in Germany for about 35 years. I work in the cosmetics industry and am responsible for our non-profit association DDSGermany.
"Elizabeth, what is so special about your DDSGermany e.V., what are the people in Germany or the Philippines allowed to imagine and hope for? Who are your leading members?
"I should explain "e.V." = it is a registered association (which only carries out something good and serving the general public). The special thing about our association is that we support our compatriots here in Germany as well as globally and also (e.g. in need) Germans in the Philippines. We are a highly motivated association, everybody supports everybody and everybody wants to help. At DDSGermany the structure looks like this:
Don Macamo Visaya:
Cheeryll Loseto Jo:
Marcel Fenchel, Frankfurt:
SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR."
"That is already a concentrated force of committed personalities! Elizabeth, what are then the main goals of the association https://ddsgermany.de/ in Germany Elizabeth."
"Our main goal is to help as many people as possible, that can be Germans or Filipinos. We also support Germans in the Philippines who, for example, got into problems or became ill. If Filipinos in Germany are in need or need advice and support, we will gladly use our network to provide the best possible help to those affected".
"How long does your https://ddsgermany.de/ exist then already and can interested also honorary engage themselves?"
"Our association exists for four years, attained somewhat later the non-profit character. We are pleased however on further active members, who can help also gladly with the association organization. Germans who are married, for example, are also welcome, because they know both cultures. Also from other countries we invite nice helping people to join us."
"Sounds good! What does the membership at DDSGermany cost? And do all members have to speak English?"
"We are very happy about new members. You are very welcome. The membership costs 2,20US $ per month and no, our members do not necessarily have to speak English. But it is better, we are internationally active."
"Elizabeth, can you tell us about the past? What was the most spectacular project of DDSGermany, how can you help people in the Philippines or even all over the world?"
"The best was an action in which we were able to provide hundreds of people with necessary vaccinations through our Medical Mission in a village in the Philippines, had long overdue dental treatments carried out and distributed many vitamins, especially to the elderly and children. We also help to the best of our ability in the event of occasional floods".
"Wooow, sounds very nice Elizabeth! What is your personal vision for the association DDSGermany and how do you want to grow further?"
"The best way is to gain as many active members as possible and our vision is to support our government here in Germany and from all countries in Europe and the Philippines in the best possible way and to help as many people as possible, Germans, Europeans and Filipinos, together. We are there where there is need and we help where people are in need".
"Very good. Let's take a final look at the Philippines, what is the current situation in the island state and how do you see the country in 2025 or even better in 2030?"
"A lot has changed in the Philippines in the last four years, the infrastructure has improved a lot, has been and is constantly being optimized. We have been able to improve the situation through the mission and vision of President Duterte Build'Build'Build. Our goal is to improve the standard of the people on the 7641 islands (!) of our country. At the same time, we also want to prioritize environmental protection more and more in the planning processes of all developments. I hope and wish that environmental protection in the Philippines will continue to improve in the years until 2030. In fact, more and more efforts are being made to take really effective measures for e.g. sewage treatment and waste disposal".
"Dear Elizabeth, many thanks for the interview and much success for your association and the Philippines."

Mallorca, Marratxinet: Recreation & healthy relaxation is offered by an old conv …
Majorca and the Majorcan tourism industry have experienced a painful year in 2020. The success of the Spanish travel industry has suddenly blown away. Mass accommodations and bed castles have not even opened this year. Also Finca operators had it this year extremely heavily, many had to give up. Nevertheless there are some very courageous hoteliers this year, who are unusually successful with unusual concepts. Today I am a guest at

Mallorca in summer 2020, a paradise for motorcyclists. Besides great weather for swimming, the largest Balearic Island offers many open restaurants, pool fincas and mostly empty beaches invite you to relax. But one thing is convincing: this year's summer tranquility. It can be compared with the wonderful melancholy of the Mallorca winter holidays, with incomparably more pleasant temperatures. German Local Trade Tax
All the companies in Germany are liable to pay not only corporate income tax, whose rate is nowadays about 15% of the annual profit of the company, but also trade tax (Gewerbesteuer), which is a tax of German characteristics. Why would we say that trade tax is of German characteristics? Because it is different from the corporate income tax, which is charged by the German Federal Government and it is difficult
