BioLink is about to conquer the Vietnamese biometric market

BioLink announces establishment of partner relations with one of the leading Vietnamese suppliers of advanced security solutions – ADC company. Cooperation of both companies will be targeted at implementation of biometric identification technologies with state authorities and commercial structures. First and foremost, their collaboration will aim at participation in governmental programs of development and deployment of brand new identification documents with embedded biometrics (passports, visas, e-documents, etc.) meeting modern internationally accepted standards.

One of the first results of successful cooperation between BioLink and ADC is participation in a largest regional forum on information and telecommunication technologies - TBI-2007 (International Telecommunication-Broadcast) - held late in May in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Visitors of the forum showed keen interest in BioLink’s product line of fingerprint optical scanners BioLink U-Match (USB and Ethernet interfaces, office and mountable versions, including mobile identification terminals). Another BioLink’s solution that captured the TBI-2007 visitors’ attention is an automated multi-biometric information system BioLink AMIS intended for large scale projects for development and issuance of biometric identifying documents, reliable provision of social services, banking, financial and other institutions whose activities are related to mass servicing of clients and users.

Piotr Pertsov, BioLink’s director of business development, says: “The Asia-Pacific region is one of the most dynamically evolving and promising biometric markets for establishing partner relations.
