Press release from: Feelbelt GmbH

/ PR Agency: Strategische Beratung Daniela Kabisch
Potsdam, September 01, 2020 – Feelbelt GmbH, a Potsdam-based start-up in the field of haptic feedback, is again represented at the IFA this year. The 2020 Special Edition of the International Consumer Electronics Fair will take place live only for trade visitors and press representatives from September 3 to 5, 2020. Digital concepts have been developed for all other visitors, including the IFA Xtended Space, so that innovations in the fields of consumer electronics and home appliances are made accessible to the public even under the given circumstances. Feelbelt presents itself both at their booth and in the Xtended Space.

This year's IFA is once again an excellent opportunity for Feelbelt to present its in-house developed and unique technology to a professional audience. In 2019, a prototype of the Feelbelt was presented to the public for the first time at the IFA - the great response was decisive for the further development and continuous support of the Potsdam-based start-up. Now with the final prototypes, a higher brand awareness and one month before delivery of the pre-orders, the Feelbelt team is looking forward to a successful trade show appearance as in 2019: "We are very grateful to be able to participate in a physical trade fair this year. Our goal for our presence at this year's IFA is to meet a large number of possible distributors above all, as we want to open up new markets. We are especially looking forward to our presentation "Walk a mile in their shoes", which will be held on Saturday, September 5, from 11.40-11.55 a.m.", says managing director Benjamin Heese.

You will find Feelbelt GmbH in Hall A, City Cube, Booth 108 (IFA NEXT). Feelbelt is looking forward to your appointment requests by mail. Alternatively, you can use the links below to book appointments for interviews or other requests in advance.

The Feelbelt enables its users to feel the entire frequency spectrum. It is worn around the waist and transmits all audio frequencies from 1-20,000Hz directly to the skin, opening up a new dimension in the perception of multimedia content for gamers, music lovers and even hearing-impaired people. The patented technology uses ten pulse generators to create a complex feedback from all directions.

"Our vision is to create a special entertainment factor. In the gaming sector, we offer extreme added value - both for professional gamers, for whom the Feelbelt offers a tactical advantage, and for hobby gamers, who experience their games even more realistically and intensively," says Heese. "In addition to the entertainment factor, we are creating an access to the immersion experience especially for people with hearing impairments and for deaf people, as for the first time all frequencies of the content can be felt. In this way, they can also distinguish the emotional situation in gaming, film and music, which is a matter of course for us normal hearing people," explains Heese.
