Onepoint Software Speeds Up Future Development and Expansion via Second Round of Financing
Graz, May 24, 2007 – Onepoint Software GmbH, based in Graz, Austria, successfully secured a second round of financing and with that, more than quintupled its net equity. The new capital comes from the Swiss investment companies Progressio GmbH and Top Star Holding AG as well as the Austrian HBA Beteiligungs GmbH.Onepoint is a vendor of software for project leadership. Using Onepoint Project high-tech organizations are able to implement their projects efficiently. Through the innovative connection of project management and controlling it is possible to make projects more transparent and at the same time to reduce project risk, administrative effort and costs.
Through the recapitalization Onepoint wants to finance both the development and market launch of an on-demand variant of their project leadership solution and to further advance the internationalization of the company. The new “Update 2” of version 07 is a first step in this direction: it introduces a French and a Russian user interface. In addition, the update includes numerous improvements which were added based on customer feedback.
“The new capital allows us to address existing and new markets more aggressively than until now”, said Onepoint CEO Gerald Mesaric. “We especially want to expand our partner business. For instance, the Russian and French adaptations of our user interface have already been supplied to us by potential partners from those countries.”
