Los Angeles, CA – January 18, 2012 – La Isla Brand, a couture swimwear and apparel line under La Isla Fashion Group LLC, announces the launch of La Isla 360, a charitable program designed to support nonprofit organizations around the world. Extending the reach of La Isla Brand’s many existing charity initiatives, the La Isla 360 one-for-one donation concept makes an immediate, personal impact through the use of street teams stationed around the world that are dedicated to helping those in need.

CEO and Founder, Enrique Sánchez-Rivera states, “Running a business without lending a helping hand to those in need makes no sense to me. We are excited for the La Isla 360 program and hope that people recognize the value of shopping with a conscience.”

La Isla 360 represents the brand’s commitment to remain conscious of the world all around us. They have consistently dedicated time, energy and funds to engage in eco friendly and socially conscious business practices every step of the way. Each time a La Isla Brand tee is purchased, one of their La Isla 360 tees is donated to someone in need. The brand is currently focusing efforts on various homeless shelters and children’s organizations such as Children of the Americas, to ensure their donations are benefitting the greatest amount of people possible.

Maintaining a socially responsible company is one of La Isla’s greatest values, and their efforts expand beyond the La Isla 360 program. The brand is committed to environmental efforts by using soy-based inks and organic cottons in the production of their apparel. La Isla also utilizes FSC approved printing facilities and solar powered Internet hosting through www.aiso.net. In their manufacturing facilities, the brand employs mostly head of household women in Colombia and makes a big effort to only engage suppliers who practice equally responsible business practices. The brand also proudly supports organizations such as Jean-Michel Cousteau’s Ocean Futures Society through countless donations and partnerships.
