Felicity Quilt by Jutta Hufnagel

Felicity Quilt by Jutta Hufnagel

The international online portal Quilt around the World presents a new online sew-along project for quilters of all levels with the motto "Octagonny – 8 sides will make you happy!".

Octagonny is a series of 25 tutorials for octagonal patchwork blocks united in the "Felicity" Quilt by Jutta Hufnagel. Every other week one of these block designs is presented on the e-learning platform of Quilt around the World. Each tutorial includes a short explanatory video of these cheerful hexagonal blocks. In addition, the 14-day publications include step-by-step diagrams and full-size templates for 9 inch and 22.5 cm blocks for download and printing. This makes sewing these Octagonny blocks a pleasure even for less experienced quilters.

The octagon blocks can be used to design individual quilting projects in different layouts. The “Felicity” Quilt can also be created using the included instructions. There are also several bonus projects with octagonal motifs in different sizes for designing smaller accessories suitable for every season.

Material packs with fabrics for the “Felicity” Quilt in various colour combinations from romantic to eccentric can be obtained from the Quilthouse in Purgstall, Austria (www.quilthouse.at). Owner Angelika Steinböck is also happy to advise on individual fabric and colour requests.

The participation fee for the sew-along project "Octagonny" is 19 Euro. All important information about the project is available online at
https://www.quilt-around-the-world.com/en/content/octagonny-8-sides-will-make-you-happy.

The introduction as well as the first Octagonny block instruction are available free of charge and without registration on the e-learning platform:
