The Coronavirus induced lockdown In India today, have shaken the very foundation of the educational system and as a result, schools and colleges have been shut since mid - March with board examinations hanging in suspended animation in various states. Across the nation at large, teachers have been asked to tutor from home using online modes. Social media platforms WhatsApp Facebook, Zoom, Google Meet Hangouts etal which were slammed by students, parents and teachers as unacademic have suddenly become the savior for the entire educational process from admissions through instructions, examinations and evaluations!!

Principal also asked cadets of NCC and Bharat Scouts and Guides of the school to engage in Mask making at home for COVID-19 fight.

NCC cadets Harshita, Priya, Sakshi, Bhoomika along Bharat Scouts and Guides Chavi, Annu, Palak, Himani and school Band student Yashasvi rose to the occasion and tailored countless masks from their homes. Congratulating them, JMA Pilani Chairman Dr Suman Mishra and Principal Mrs Booma Natarajan said that the reputation of the school is not only based on results but also on engaging the students in Social Engineering activities like mask making for the larger task of nation building.
