Blood Donation Camp Held at Earth Infrastructures Ltd.
Blood Donation is Best Doanation !
The camp is inaugurated by Mr. Atul Gupta, JMD. 120 employees of Earth Infrastructures Limited have voluntarily participated in making the camp very successful. This is initiated in the light of the facts that millions of lives get saved every year world over because of blood donation and many more could be saved but for the shortage of blood donors.
Our nation needs every year about 4 crore units of blood and supply is meager 40 lakh units. There is a great need for about 38000 blood donors every day but the current statistics stand at 10589. ‘You can be the special one to keep the counting going’, is the inspiration behind organizing the blood donation camp which was conducted in association with Lions Club.
Every adult can donate blood once in every 56 days. Our body contains more than 10 units of blood and roughly 1 unit is given during the donation. The recovery happens within week days and the maximum is 56 days. The minimum age to donate blood is 17 years. At Earth Infra we all believe that giving is the most cordial and effective tool for sharing love and affection with others.
A lot of satisfaction and joy filled the environment aftermath the blood donation camp. All the employees and the management took pledge to continue this legacy as a part of CSR activity once in three months. Earth Infrastructures Limited is committed to contribute to the society in the best possible manner.
