Oliver Wight to present at new Supply Chain Event in China

Peter Metcalfe, Partner at business improvement specialists, Oliver Wight, will be presenting the benefits of Integrated Business Planning (IBP) at the inaugural S-Council Annual Congress, ‘Maximising Supply Chain Value’, in Shanghai on Friday 16th December 2011.

At the leading edge of Oliver Wight’s management thinking and practice, IBP (advanced S&OP) is a common sense process for aligning the company plans every month. It provides greater control over demand, production and supply chain activities.

The S-Council Annual Congress is a new event running from 15th to 16th December 2011, designed for industry professionals to discuss development and innovation of supply chain strategy, and share practices in risk management, visibility, cost control and partnerships. The event will be run by S-Council, which is short for China Supply Chain Executive Council, a membership-based organisation for supply chain related professionals in the Asia Pacific region.
