Warrior Group Hires Angie Rawie as Business Development Executive Responsible for Higher Education Sector

Warrior Group, a DeSoto-based general contractor that delivers commercial construction projects for the public and private sectors, has hired Angie Rawie as a business development executive for the higher education sector, responsible for expanding Warrior Group’s presence within the higher education segment. Rawie has more than 20 years of experience in the real estate development industry with expertise in the development of university facilities and customer relationship building. Rawie previously was president of Collegiate Partners, LLC, a firm specializing in higher education consulting.

“Angie’s extensive experience in student housing development, along with her proven track record in sourcing both on and off-campus student housing development opportunities make her a tremendous asset to Warrior and our customers, “ said Wes Carter, director of business development. “She understands the student housing platform and what it takes to build successful student housing projects. She knows how to build customer relationships and trust and her knowledge of the higher education sector will certainly help expand Warrior’s presence in this growing market. Angie will look out for our customers’ best interest from the beginning of the relationship to the end of their project and beyond.”

Prior to joining Warrior, Rawie held a variety of positions in the student housing development industry providing her with experience in general contracting, customer relationship building, project management, account management and sales. Her experience includes developing both on-campus residence halls and privately financed off-campus facilities.

Rawie attended Dartmouth College in Hanover, N.H. and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Smith College in Northampton, Mass. She also received a Master of Real Estate Development degree from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
