Warrior Group, a provider of premier construction services for permanent modular and conventional construction, has opened an office in the Washington, D.C. area to better serve its government and military customers. As one of the largest women- and minority-owned construction services companies in the country, Warrior Group is uniquely positioned to provide premium permanent modular construction and construction management to the government sector.

“With our new office in the D.C. area, Warrior Group is strategically located to support our current and potential government clients, such as the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Veterans Administration,” said Gail Warrior, president and chief executive officer, Warrior Group. “We will also be better able to monitor and comment on legislation that can impact the permanent modular construction industry, such as contracting requirements that preclude the use of design-build contracts, which are crucial to the implementation of permanent modular construction.”

Warrior Group’s work for government agencies includes projects around the country, both large and small. For the USACE, Warrior Group has completed housing complexes at several military bases, including Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas; Fort Hood in Killeen, Texas and Fort Carson in Colorado Springs, Colo. In addition, the company is completing a 500,000 square foot permanent Medical Education Training Campus at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio.
