F1 Rocks™ The Afterparty to stage Star-Studded Events in Delhi

London, Delhi – 18th October 2011 – F1 Rocks™ The Afterparty, in association with DNA ™Entertainment Networks Pvt. Ltd. and Vladivar are proud to announce that it will host two exclusive parties in Delhi during the weekend of the inaugural Formula 1 Grand Prix of India.
The first of the star-studded F1 Rocks The Afterparty will take place on Friday, 28th October, at the Crowne Plaza, right next to the F1 Rocks™ in India with Vladivar live concert with Metallica featuring Seb Fontaine and The Cuban Brothers.
The second F1 Rocks™ The Afterparty will be held at the Durbar Hall, Taj Palace on Sunday 30th October following the Formula 1 Grand Prix of India and will feature a raft of fantastic international artists including Boy George, The Cuban Brothers, Marc Vedo and Formula 1 driver Sakon Yamamoto.
Spinning the decks will be flamboyant headliner Boy George, Icon of the New Romantic movement with his band Culture Club. The Grammy Award winning multi talented artist, famous for his androgynous style of dressing has recently excelled himself as Club DJ, but also continues to excel as a song writer and book author, as well as a clothes designer.
Seb Fontaine is one of the most recognised DJs on the international club scene. Through his high profile and long-standing residencies, radio shows and compilation CDs; Seb has been at the forefront of the scene for many years and continues to showcase his electronic house grooves at high-profile gigs around the world. As an elite international DJ, Seb has also released a number of best-selling compilation albums for Global Underground (‘Prototype’), Ministry Of Sound, Cream, and Positiva.
The unique Cuban Brothers, consisting of Miguel, Archario and Clemente Montavani have become the stuff of legends. Born in Havana, their fresh approach to live entertainment whips up a frenzy at every gig. Their performances evolve with every show and combine music, riotous comedy, both physical, observational and sentinel dancing – the energy at every show is incredible.
Also joining the line-up will be accomplished Club and Festival DJ and record producer Marc Vedo, whose recent club classic ‘Escada’ was been chosen and licensed for inclusion on no less than 15 different dance compilations this summer. Mark, an ever present figure on the International Club circuit is also behind the Koolwaters clubbing brand.
Rounding up the line-up for Sunday night’s party will be multi-tasking Marussia Virgin Racing’s driver Sakon Yamamoto, who proved himself the star attraction at the recent F1 Rocks™ The Afterparty in Monza, where his DJ-ing skills entertained guests and celebrities to great acclaim.
