SWPF Announcing the SWPF Award for Innovation & Marafiq Award for Sustainability

Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (10 October 2011): Endorsed by the Ministry of Water and Electricity and in Partnership with Moya Bushnak, the Saudi Water & Power Forum will be held at the Hilton Hotel in Jeddah, on the 4-6 December 2011.

H.E. Abdullah Al-Hussayen, Minister of Water & Electricity will lead the Awards Ceremony followed by the Gala Dinner on December 4. The SWPF Award for Innovation and the Marafiq Award for Sustainability will be presented at the Forum Inauguration Ceremony at eight o’clock in the evening.

The SWPF Award for Innovation will reward the company acknowledged by its industry peers as having been the most innovative in the Saudi power and/or water sectors over the past year.

The recipient for the Marafiq Award will be recognised for their remarkable work in the fields of environmental, economic and social sustainability in the Kingdom.
The awards will give all companies applying, a chance to gain recognition of their achievement. Closing date for the submission of nominations will be October 17 (organisers are to be contacted directly on www.ksawpf.com).
