MINIWIZ is a Taiwanese firm that is a globally recognized innovator dedicated to eco-solutions through practicing the 3Rs – Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. At Miniwiz, we synergize expertise in design, engineering and manufacturing to deliver innovative solutions by applying existing and future green technology. Our theory of change is that businesses with a focus on sustainability could create positive impact on both social and economic level.
Miniwiz had already made a name for itself, both at home and abroad, by building the EcoARK Pavilion for the Taipei International Flora Expo, created from 1.5 million plastic bottles turned into “polli-bricks” and lit by solar-powered LED lighting systems.
Miniwiz is building the Taipei Pavilion for the 2011 Taipei World Design Expo. During the expo, Miniwiz will introduce its new product: Re-Wine!
Re-Wine is the epitome of re-purposing, a creative solution for our trashy resources. Built-in interlocking joints and partially biodegradable materials, making trash bottles chic, practical, and planet-friendly. The reusable carrying case transforms into an energy-efficient LED desk lamp, using your empty wine bottle as a stand.
