Bizerba's Ralf Steinhilber takes on new role as Director of Food

Balingen, 7th September 2011 - Ralf Steinhilber has been working as the new Director of Food Processing Market since 1 August.
His new role in the company means that the 40-year-old is now responsible for the areas of Food Processing Technology and Food Processing Market. "We would like to welcome Ralf Steinhilber to his new position and we are sure that he will also undertake any future tasks responsibly," said Andreas Kraut, Chairman of the Bizerba management.

Mr. Steinhilber is a trained MBA, industrial engineer and computer scientist and he can already look back on a decade-long career at Bizerba: from 2001 until 2004, he led the project business and application development in the field of labelling; from 2004 until 2006 he was responsible for the technology behind stand-alone scales. He worked as General Manager Technique at Bizerba WeighTech in Shanghai until 2008, then from 2008 until 2011, he was part of the development project management team in the field of classic industrial engineering and helped develop the new generation of Bizerba terminals.

"In future, we will also keep a close eye on customer and market demand; with our technological potential, we will create sustainable innovations which will allow us to contribute to the long-term growth of the food processing industry," said the 40-year-old Steinhilber.
