Zorg Biogas AG constructs 1MW biogas plant in Slovakia
50 tons of corn silage and 11 tons of pig manure per day will be converted into 990 kW of electric power and further sold to the national grid under “green tariff”. Biogas plant planned of 2 digesters x 2900m3 volume each. Biogas plant design works were started 2 years ago. As Mr. Robert Hajčákon explained, they tried to cooperate with some German company, but had to refuse from their services. As a result Zorg Biogas AG was chosen for that job. All works are planned to be accomplished at the end of year 2011 – beginning 2012.

Before biogas industry since 70th Zorg Biogas's engineers have been participating in gigantic projects: several thousands MW hydro power electric stations, city waste water treatment plants, huge dams.
Company started from purchasing proved biogas technology and know-how from several German and Austrian engineering biogas companies. Zorg Biogas collected pull of technologies from simple one-stage for silage to complicated many-stage for pure chiken dung or distillery wastewater. This differs Zorg Biogas from many other "village" biogas companies who has only one biogas solution.
