The Cornwall staycation market continues to thrive as Brexit, improved transport links, and the increasing popularity of owning holiday homes pushes it to the forefront of UK holiday destinations. A high street bank published results proving Cornwall’s popularity and said that 31% of station fans would visit the region next year. Travel Lodge also rates the peninsula as the UK’s most popular staycation destination.

2019, saw its fifth consecutive year of growth, with just over 460,000 passengers passing through. The increase shows in launched routes to Heathrow, Jersey, Copenhagen and Guernsey. There are also plans to add Newcastle, Glasgow, Norwich, and Aberdeen alongside its existing Manchester and Gatwick services.
