Cintas Deploys Paperless Delivery Enabled by SOFTPRO E-signatures
SOFTPRO today announced that Cintas Corporation, the leading supplier of uniform services, has deployed an automated electronic process for capturing customer signatures remotely. The environmentally friendly solution is enabled by SOFTPRO’s SignDoc software which captures a customer’s electronic signature on a tablet PC and securely binds it to the electronic PDF form via Adobe® Reader®.
This application is the largest known deployment of esignature technology in combination with Adobe LiveCycle® ES, Reader and tablet computers.
“SOFTPRO is an excellent partner for us for two reasons. First, they understood our needs and worked closely with us to deploy and support our implementation. We knew we could count on them. Second, their solution is both robust and easy to implement. We are deploying a combination of technologies and SOFTPRO brings them all together” said Brian Daniel, Director - IT Enterprise Services, Cintas Corporation. “Both our sales team and customers have been quite pleased with this roll-out.”
SOFTPRO’s SignDoc software provides a native integration with Adobe LiveCycle and Reader. Clients such as Cintas can easily add esignatures to forms generated from Adobe LiveCycle and gain further leverage by fully enabling this investment using the freely available Adobe Reader software on the tablet PC.
“Cintas has leveraged three technologies in a way that most haven’t,” shared Rod Vesling, President and General Manager, SOFTPRO North America, Inc. “The result is an intuitive and highly effective process that is enjoyable to use by Cintas employee-partners and customers. We were pleased to work with Adobe and HP to bring this application to life.”
As a starting point, Cintas is utilizing Adobe LiveCycle to both produce its PDF forms and to automate the collection & processing of data from completed forms.
“Cintas clearly understands how important the customer experience is to maintaining its position in the market. While other companies continue to print their forms, Cintas is implementing a completely electronic process that will save itself and its customers time and resources by fully utilizing Adobe’s electronic signature architecture, our capabilities to automate data capture, as well as SOFTPRO’s SignDoc plug-in for Adobe Reader,” said John Harris, Senior Product Manager for Electronic Signatures at Adobe Systems, Inc.
The solution for the Cintas Sales Representatives began implementation late last year and will be fully deployed by the second half of 2011.
