Lead School JMA Pilani Students make Teachers Day Celebrations truly unforgettable

The birthday of a great teacher, philosopher and the former President of India, Dr Saravepalli Radhakrishnan a towering personality indeed is celebrated across the length and breadth of the country every year on 5 September as Teacher Day. As per rich Indian tradition, a teacher is revered as a guru and parent who guides, motivates as well as inspires the students to gain knowledge and mould them to be good citizens for involvement in the larger task of nation building.

By making a student to take a test after a lesson during the educational years, indeed it is the teacher who prepares the student to take a test and learn a lesson later in life. No one has doubt that the youth of India today who are mostly students get shaped by the teachers to be top ranking leaders of India tomorrow. Smt Jamuna Mishra Academy JMA established in the year 2004 is presently one of the most sought after schools at Pilani considered as Oasis in the desert state of Rajasthan.

It is a matter of great pride that JMA Pilani is referred popularly as the School with 100% Results on account of outstanding results year after year in Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan RBSE Class X and Class 12. To celebrate the teachers' day, the students of JMA Pilani organized a program on 05 Sep 2019 to felicitate the teachers. Every class room, corridors and assembly place were all artistically decorated by the students. The junior section students may be shorter in height but they still matched their senior counterparts in enthusiasm. The students gave a rousing welcome to all the teachers and had a gala session of music, dance and games.

It goes without saying that the teachers added a whole range of their talents also hitherto unknown to their students. Jayant Rawat from Class 12 Science stream enacted the role of Principal Mrs Booma Natarajan for the day and won the hearts one and all. When the celebrations ended after a round of snacks, selfie rounds and memento giving, the students and teachers of JMA were seen with beaming faces and pride that they were indeed part of an institution which is a shining jewel in the crown among the schools at Pilani.
