These Drills show how much you actually can practice for Special Teams which is not automatically covered with the drills for Offense and Defense.

This was until now the by far biggest addition to footballdrills.com since Michael Roth started his campaign to get the college coaches involved into his project to provide free American Football coaching material to all coaches in the world.

Most American Football coaches on the youth level and most coaches outside the USA do not have a solid coaching education nor can they afford to attend the various coaching clinics - mostly because of time and financial restrictions. But most of these coaches (mostly volunteers) take their assignment very serious and thirst for information how to become a better coach, and how to teach their players the game.

Randy Hedberg is the Head Coach of the St. Clouds State University Huskies (NCAA II). He heads into his 9th year with the Huskies, while being a head coach in the collegiate level for 17 years now. His overall record is 88-67-2.
Hedberg was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the NFL in 1977. He started in five regular season games as a rookie quarterback and is one of only 12 quarterbacks in the history of the NFL to start in their rookie season. He played with Tampa Bay through 1978, before playing with the Oakland Raiders in 1979 and the Green Bay Packers in 1980.
Hedberg was named by Sports Illustrated as one of the top 50 North Dakota sports figures of the 20th Century.
Coach Hedberg lives in Sartell. He and his wife Chery Hysjulien have daugthers Maddie, Katie, Jennifer and Christopher.
