Press release from: CAS DataLoggers

Technology may rapidly change but T&D’s goal remains the same!

Over the past 25 years our partner T&D has continually developed next generation loggers to make sure your important data lives on and stays accessible.

Leave your data’s future to T&D

Designing a compact, PC compatible, long-life battery-operated data logger took years of trial and error and finally in 1994, T&D’s first temperature data logger was born. No longer did data loggers have to be “big” and “expensive”. This innovative data logger, with its revolutionary ideas built in, became a trendsetter at the time.

For the twenty-five years since then, T&D has been at the forefront of creating new data loggers to meet the modern customer’s demand for “anytime anywhere access” to data. Their data logging systems based on wireless communication, LAN and Bluetooth, coupled with the introduction of our free-of-charge cloud storage service “T&D WebStorage Service” are clear examples of T&D’s continued dedication to making trendsetting data loggers.

T&D takes great pride in the fact that data measured by their data loggers twenty-five years ago is still vital and useful. As pioneers in the industry, they will continue to produce high-quality data loggers that meet the changing needs of the time and of their customers worldwide. In doing so, T&D promises to make sure the future of data management is simple, yet secure and trustworthy.

CAS Dataloggers was T&D’s first US sales and distribution partner, beginning our relationship in 2004. Since then we have worked with customers large and small with simple to sophisticated data logging and monitoring applications. The breadth of T&D’s product offering satisfies a wide range of applications and does so reliably and with excellent value. We look forward to a long future with innovative T&D products that continue to meet customers’ needs and market demands.

New A2-06 Temperature & Alarming Monitoring Pod by CAS
Medical storage applications depend heavily on monitoring the temperature of their goods in cold storage to protect items such as vaccines, blood, medicine, and tissue samples. CAS DataLoggers is pleased to introduce the A2-06 Ethernet Wired Temperature Measurement Pod designed for measuring temperatures in medical refrigerators, freezers, incubators, and in cryogenic storage. The pod is an Ethernet LAN-wired temperature monitor with connections for two external RTDs and a thermocouple sensor.
The Basics of Signal Attenuation
Maximize Signal Range and Wireless Monitoring Capability Signal attenuation is the reduction of energy or a radio frequency (RF) transmission, such as when sending data via WiFi, Zigbee, or some communication protocol for applications such as automated temperature monitoring. Attenuation is represented in decibels (dB), which is ten times the logarithm of the signal power at a particular input or source location in watts divided by the output or receiving end
