Profile Migrator for user profile migration from clients to VDI
Profile Migrator 2.2 is a powerful solution for the transformation of selected user settings and data from client systems to terminal servers and VDI environments. In this context, the program automatically takes care of adapting the profile structure, which is necessary for example when switching from a Windows XP client (V1 profile) to a virtual Windows 7 desktop (V2 profile). The simultaneous migration from 32 to 64 bits is similarly possible as is the change of a domain assigned to the user profiles. Apart from the profile migration from local to roaming user profiles, Profile Migrator also permits the profile migration from clients to clients or from servers to servers.
Profile Migrator transfers user settings for arbitrary windows-based applications from the operating systems Microsoft Server 2003 and Microsoft Windows XP onwards. With the migration, a simultaneous profile cleanup takes place with respect to the settings that were not selected. The program can be executed via the intuitive GUI or automatically via scripts, which permits integration into software deployment suites such as Microsoft SCCM. Common applications, such as, e.g., Microsoft Office, can be migrated immediately with the ACS files provided by sepago. In this context, Profile Migrator supports the upgrade from Office XP to the newest Office version 2010.
