National conference, ‘Frontiers of Computer science’ will be held at DBIT, Bangalore
The Department of Computer science and Engineering of Don Bosco Institute of Technology will stage a National conference from May 19 to 21.The conference entitled ‘Frontiers of Computer science’ (FCS) will be held at Don Bosco Institute of Technology, Kumbalagodu, Mysore Road, Bangalore.
Department of Computer Science & Engineering has planned to stage a National Conference entitled “FRONTIERS OF COMPUTER SCIENCE” during May 19th to 21st, 2011. This Conference is being arranged under the banner “Anveshan” which is the association of Department of Computer Science & Engineering nourished by staff & Students of the Department. All the activities of the department are held under this association Umbrella. This National Conference as the name suggests covers all spheres of Computer related activities. The theme of the Conference clearly shows the depth of knowledge that participates will acquire after attending the Conference.
Dharanipragada Satya Murthy, principal secretary, Government of Karnataka and DK Subramanian, professor, Indian Institute of Science will be the chief guests of the conference.
Students will present their research papers based on the theme. The theme throws light on many topics of challenging nature which relates to society. The best paper of each session will be given a cash prize. The registration fee for the under graduate course is ` 100 and for post graduate students is ` 250. There will be technical sessions as well.
Participants for the seminar include staff and research workers from various education institutions, research development organizations like Infosys, TCS, Huawei, and Siemens. Each session of the conference will be chaired by professors from reputed institutions across the country.
