Moussa Tiba was born 1939 in Lebanon and grew up with his family in the Lebanese countryside. He graduated from the Fine-Arts Academy of Beirut in 1961 and in 1966 from the Fine-Arts Academy of Rome. He was a professor of Art at the University of Lebanon from 1972 to 1986. He is perceived as one of the main artistic figures in Lebanon. He has lived in Chartres, France since 1986. Moussa Tiba continues his humble work at the age of 70 in his studios at Libancana and in Chartres where he conducts his global conversations, exhibiting, working and researching in nouveau realism and in the abstract colours of his world as he sees it.
