Electronic Health Record — Middleware for Document System and Front End Suppliers

Berlin/Paderborn, April 9, 2019 – From April 9-11, 2019, achelos GmbH will be presenting at the DMEA in Berlin products, solutions and services for interoperability with the telematics infrastructure in the German healthcare sector. In addition to the “TI to go” test lab, achelos’s experts will demonstrate a new middleware for the use of an electronic patient record. The innovation achelos is putting on show is the future-proof smart phone solution for modern applications of the insured and will be presenting a comprehensive offer of KRITIS products within the healthcare sector together with partners. achelos is bronze partner of DMEA 2019, Europe’s largest event for the healthcare IT sector, and will be represented with its own booth in hall 2.2, booth B106.

achelos Middleware Supports Solution for § 291a
The achelos middleware for the electronic patient record is specification compliant and equipped with an electronic health card interface for currently issued and future contactless health cards. The achelos middleware authenticates the user at the access gateway, and following successful authorisation, the user receives access to the document management system. On show are also secure apps for mobile devices. The live demo of the electronic patient record at the booth will be complemented by a panel on April 10, 2019 at 2.30 pm in Hub 2, Hall 2.2. Christof Basener, Director eID Solutions at achelos, will be taking part as expert in the discussion on “All Your Data Belongs to Us: Electronic Patient Record from a Data Protection Perspective”.
