achelos presents new eSIM subscription management solutions and services for GSMA IoT Security Guidelines + Assessment at MWC 2019

new services for GSMA assessment of IoT systems security

Barcelona/Paderborn, February 25, 2019 – From February 25 to 28, the IoT experts of the achelos GmbH will be presenting at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019 in Barcelona (hall 6, booth B40). The MWC is the world's largest gathering for the mobile industry with more than 107,000 attendees and 2,400 exhibitors from around 205 countries, organised by the GSMA. achelos IoT demonstrates innovative solutions for eSIM subscription management in consumer and IoT devices as well as new GSMA services to assess and to improve the security of IoT systems according to GSMA guidelines. With a new out-of-the-box deployment in AWS (Amazon Web Service) achelos IoT can easily enable any customer interested in trying out the eSIM technology.

As an independent software development company and technology enabler with a well-established expertise in digital security, achelos IoT
offers a broad range of solutions in the fields of secure connectivity management for traditional and embedded (eSIMs*) SIM cards, embedded software development and security evaluation.

Management of eSIMs in consumer devices (SM-DP+) is in the focus of the demonstration presented by the experts of achelos IoT in 2019. After presenting last year the fully automated lifecycle management of connectivity in IoT devices, from service bootstrap to end-of-life, achelos has expanded the offer with SM-DP+ and SM-DS products. Complementing the Subscription Manager offering for IoT with support of consumer device specification, achelos offers the complete technology stack to the market players looking to implement and offer to the customers eSIM-enabled services independently from the major service providers.

“The solution for remote subscription provisioning on the consumer devices is fully compliant with GSMA RSP** specifications and targets service providers and mobile network operators, who wants to independently build and operate the subscription management service”, announces Kathrin Asmuth, managing partner of achelos.

The solution for remote subscription provisioning for M2M and IoT devices, the first truly independent implementation of the Subscription Management technology for M2M/IoT with proven track record of deployments, will be also available for demonstration for the visitors interested in IoT technology.

The visitors of achelos will also be able to learn about how achelos supports customers to assess and to improve the security of the
IoT systems based on the GSMA IoT Security Guidelines and discuss with their experts at the achelos booth.
