Press release from: Countrywide

Rising confidence in the Birmingham property market has enabled Dixons to expand its branch network across the Midlands with the opening of a new flagship branch in Birmingham City Centre.

Operating for over 80 years, the growing market across the Midlands has enabled Dixons to open its 36th office in the region.
The new branch is situated opposite the entrance to Birmingham's renowned Mailbox in Westside on the Suffolk Queensway in Birmingham, which will deal solely with properties within the City Centre. The new premises will make the Dixon's branch one of the largest estate agency offices in Birmingham City Centre; offering sales, lettings and mortgage services to customers.

As well as providing sales services through Dixons, rental services will be provided through a team of experienced Letting Specialists Accord Lets. Accord has been operating for over 20 years, with a strong presence in the City Centre, where it has been based for the past 10 years.

Lee Wainwright, Managing Director for Dixons Estate Agents said:
"The sales market in Birmingham has held its own throughout the current down turn and we are beginning to see a growth in appetite from buyers in the area. Birmingham City Centre is developing a strong reputation as a great place to live. The large investment and regeneration in the area with the development of iconic developments like The Cube, The Mailbox, Beetham Tower have increased the popularity of the area. "

"The combination of Dixons Estate Agents and Accord Lets will provide a great partnership of specialist knowledge and expertise to buyers, sellers, tenants and landlords."
To support the launch; eight members of staff working in the new branch have been hand selected from across Birmingham for their professional expertise and local market knowledge.

Having worked within Dixons for the last 15 years, Clare Morrall takes on the role of Branch Manager in the new office. Clare has lived and worked in and around Birmingham for a number of years and has developed an extensive level of knowledge into the local property market, allowing her to provide buyers and sellers with an in-depth insight into the area.

Clare, branch manager of Dixons City Centre branch, comments;
"The property market in Birmingham remains positive. The growing appetitive from professionals looking for properties in the area provide a valuable opportunity to buy and let in the area.

"Our new office has taken us to the heart of Birmingham City Centre and will enable us to help more buyers and sellers in the area. We are also now able to assist tenants and landlords looking to expand their property portfolios through our colleagues at Accord Lets.

"We're experiencing strong buyer demand – particularly for apartments. We operate in a diverse market with homes being snapped up for anything from £50,000 to more than £1.5million. We're looking forward to integrating ourselves within the community and helping even more customers with every step of their move".
