New Managing Director at Caledonian Fund Services (Europe)

November 2010 – Caledonian Fund Services (Europe) Limited recently announced the appointment of Tina Corteen as new Managing Director, a position which will also grant the appointee a seat on the board. Caledonian is confident in its choice of Tina and says they have all faith that she will help to pave the way for Caledonian’s continuing success in the fund industry.
Tina has extensive experience in fund administration and has worked within fund accounting, client support and transfer agency for over 16 years. She started her fund career at Scottish Provident, looking after the broker fund administration department, followed by a lengthy time as Client Support Manager and Fund Accounting Manager at Fortis in the Isle of Man.
The new managing director – who lives with her husband John at The Eairy in Foxdale – has been with Caledonian for six years and steps up from her previous position as Operations and Business Development Manager, where she focused on Caledonian’s European marketing, developing new business, and managing all operational areas.
“I am thankful for this opportunity to further build Caledonian Fund Services and I am extremely grateful for the excellent support received from the rest of the board and the whole fund services team,” expressed Tina.
As Managing Director, Tina will join Sandra Georgeson on the executive board of the Caledonian Group based on the Island. Sandra, who was appointed Managing Director to Caledonian Trust (IOM) Ltd in 2006, said she was delighted with Tina’s appointment and looked forward to working with her in the future. “We have a very strong team loyalty within Caledonian and Tina and I will continue to nurture and grow this together.”
Tina will be backed up by her management team of Neil Cain, Sara Collister, Melanie Pugh, Paul Clague, Claire Sherlock, Claira Elliott and Sam Pemberton.
“I am proud to head such a strong group. They have many years of experience within the fund world and they are exceptionally hard working and very team spirited – exactly what a young growing company needs,” concluded Mrs. Corteen.
Sandra has also welcomed Gary O’Connor as Financial Controller. Gary transferred from Caledonian Fund Services (Europe) Limited to Caledonian Trust (IOM) Ltd earlier in the year.
