Songstress Fawni Releases New Single ‘Ready When You Are’ On iTunes

(Los Angeles, CA – January 2011) – Austria’s hottest export has released her latest energy infused single on iTunes. “Ready When You Are” is an upbeat, dance anthem that will get the crowd on its feet and dare them to dance. The single was produced, arranged and mastered by creative mastermind’s DJ Sammy, Oliver Laib and executive producer Gil Corber. The first release off her upcoming album “Ready When You Are” embodies a fun loving, out-going bombshell with a gift to entertain. Fawni wants the world to dance to her music. In a recent interview she spoke of her music saying its “energetic, it’s fiery and unforgiving.”

Already a star in her native Austria, Fawni’s new material is setting her up to become pop music’s next princess. CNN recently published an article highlighting “The Next Wave of European Pop Stars” stating “Artists such as….Austria’s Fawni are suddenly swarming L.A with dreams of making it big” continuing by with “Fawni is now well known to Hollywood event photographers.”

About Fawni
"Fawni" aka Stefanie Jamaica Pschill is a multifaceted artist born in Vienna, Austria. At the age of seven Fawni delved into the music business; joining a musical group that traveled throughout Europe until her thirteenth birthday. The group performed in both major plays and musicals, and gained solid acclaim throughout the field of aspiring young talent. In her teens, Fawni moved to London, the heart of the European entertainment industry. There she began to perform extensively as well as studying acting and singing. She received musical training with several leading teachers and worked on a few small television and film projects as well.

A few years later, Fawni left London for Los Angeles on recommendation by her agent. There she continued training in acting, singing and dancing. Fawni was soon scouted by Kamil Rustam a leading west coast music producer. She is recording tracks all over, most recently in Los Angeles, New York, Vienna, London, Palma Mallorca and Stockholm, working with world renowned producers such as Herbie Crichlow from the Max Martin Team, DJ Sammy, and King Logan. Her upcoming projects are being produced by Gary Miller and Rick Wake in L.A. Fawni is currently signed to EMI Music, Warner Music and is being managed by her executive producer Gil Corber.
