AIREX® Balance-beam: Maximum training possibilities

AIREX® Balance-beam is the name of another multi-functional Balance product from the Swiss manufacturer Airex AG. The Balance-beam offers effective support in reaching therapy and training goals.

The AIREX® Balance-beam creates ideal exercise and training conditions thanks to its characteristics. It offers maximum possibilities while simultaneously minimizing the risk of injuries. Compared to air-filled training devices, which have been proven to subject the joints to increased inappropriate strain due to the displacement of air, the AIREX® Balance-beam can, for example, be used to correct instabilities in the area of the foot-leg axes more effectively. The AIREX® Balance-beam prevents abrupt movements, for example those resulting from the use of rigid balance equipment due to the loss of balance. Purposely training barefoot (or with socks) while using the AIREX® Balance-beam promotes movement patterns even more actively.

The human foot is made for running. Our modern way of life with continuous sitting and standing leads to disuse as well as unnatural strain to the feet. The result: The interplay of posture and movement functions, innervation (increased flow of information) and circulation is disrupted. The objective of physiotherapy and sports therapy rehabilitation is to improve this interplay.

The AIREX® Balance products – the Balance-beam and the Balance-pad Elite – can play an important role in this process. Their destabilizing characteristics activate the control functions of the brain.
