parts2clean Exhibitors Profit from Increasing Investment
“Our participation at the trade fair in 2010 has already generated more than a million Euros in sales. For the most part this has involved projects for which preliminary discussions had already taken place, but final decisions weren’t made until the customers came to the trade fair. Our new leads are also highly promising”, reports Tobias Oberauer. Few company representatives have expressed themselves in terms as concrete as those uttered by the managing director of Karl Roll GmbH, but a glance at the exhibitor list indicates that parts2clean is considered the world’s most significant trade fair for the industry. Already at the middle of December, i.e. roughly ten months before the next event, approximately 100 companies have made firm reservations for booth floor space. The list includes nearly all of the market and technology leaders from the various exhibition sectors: systems and processes, as well as process media and their conditioning, for degreasing, cleaning, deburring and pre-treatment of parts, parts baskets and workpiece carriers, handling and process automation, cleanroom technology, corrosion protection, preservation and packaging, job-shop cleaning, quality assurance, test methods and analysis procedures. At the last event, these offerings drew 4,046 exhibitors from 39 countries in Europe, the Americas and Asia to the Stuttgart Exhibition Centre.
Growing Demand due to Ever Stricter Cleanliness Requirements
Regardless of whether highly demanding or relatively simple cleaning tasks are involved, component and surface cleanliness is now an important quality aspect and competitive factor in manufacturing, as well as in the field of maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO). This results in further worldwide increases in demand for solutions which allow for economical cleaning in accordance with actual needs. This is where parts2clean demonstrates its strengths. Thanks to its focus on the process sequence for parts and surface cleaning, visitors are presented with the world’s most comprehensive offerings for solutions which span numerous industries and technologies – and not only for the cleaning process itself, but rather for downstream steps as well such as cleanliness inspection and documentation, corrosion protection, preservation and packaging. “The highly representative programme for achieving and maintaining defined levels of cleanliness is certainly one of the reasons that the number of trade fair visitors who are involved in company investment decisions is so high at just under 90%”, notes Hartmut Herdin, managing director of promoters fairXperts GmbH. On the other hand, the high concentration of decision makers results in concrete negotiations with the exhibitors, as well as the conclusion of sales contracts. This is also confirmed by Jens Dust, product manager for parts cleaning at Rosink GmbH + Co.: “We see our participation at the trade fair in 2010 in a very positive light. The RFQs have been very specific – the visitors have already gotten involved with the subject matter and in some cases are bringing workpieces in order to look for appropriate solutions. It’s become apparent that the automotive industry and its suppliers need to do some catching up, and areas like maintenance and repair are becoming more and more interesting as well.”
Know-How Covering All Aspects of the Cleaning Process
parts2clean is in demand amongst users from all industries, and not just as an information and procurement platform, but rather as the integrated German speaking expert forum, and as a source of knowledge as well. After all, there’s still plenty of demand for know-how covering all aspects if industrial parts and surface cleaning. This is substantiated by record breaking participation with 1,719 visitors at the presentations held at parts2clean 2010. Amongst others, topics from the areas of cleaning in medical engineering, as well as maintenance and reconditioning are on the agenda for the expert forum in 2011.
Our creativity, flexibility, commitment and quality are aligned to the customer’s requirements. For us, quality means fulfilling our customers’ requirements at all times, and exceeding them if possible.
