Business man Alon Peled invests in the Romanian modeling industry

Alon Peled, the General Manager of Mentor Group, announces that he is now entering in the fashion sector, and wishes to invest in a new launched company in Romania named - GIO Models Agency & Management.

“The main reason for this is that I believe that the local fashion field needs new standards and maybe a redefinition of what is quality and professionalism when it comes to modeling agencies.
The worldwide market in Europe and USA is very different from what we have here. This is what I intend to do in Romania, to facilitate the entering of new visions in this industry.”

Surprisingly, Romania has not provided many famous top models till now, although the local models have a high potential. Romania can offer a huge benefit in running foreign companies campaigns in here; that means providing the models and the services as an out sourcer.

“Many companies are looking forward to come in Romania, in order to do campaigns.
What drives them here is usually the price per benefit they can find in Romania. This is strictly business- very good looking models with a high motivation to success and, of course, we can provide a high level service in running a local campaign for every foreign company” said Alon Peled.

The most unique feature about Gio Models Agency is the concept of exclusivity contracts. The company wishes that the Romanian market worked according this professional principle.

“Working under this issue is beneficial for both sides – the company and the models. This is the one thing that assures a good methodology. In any country, when a person is coming to become a model, any serious modeling agency will offer them an exclusivity contract.
This is due to the fact that they invest money and promote them. I want to introduce to Romanian this concept and implement it in here.”

GIO is also obligating to new service standards such as - fast responds to its clients, professional code of behavior and above all - a “tailor made” methodology.

“We are working with many companies- some of them are very big and famous brands and some are small. Our concept is to “tailor” our services and prices to each and every client’s need.” expresses Peled
