New Type of UK Visa - UK Entrepreneur Visa
A new Entrepreneur Visa is to be introduced in the UK, for the people who have innovative business ideas and want to set up their business in Britain. This will encourage those who have the backing of investors to settle in the country.
The introduction of the “Entrepreneur Visa” can be considered as a response to the concerns raised by leading British businesses to the UK immigration cap that would be too restrictive and can hamper the economic growth.
“If you’ve got an idea, if you want to create jobs, and if you have the ambition to build a world beating company here in the UK, we want you,” is what PM Cameron had said in a speech in London.
He also added that his government is looking to promote “high-growth, highly innovative companies of the future”.
The precise information of the new UK visa will be announced next year.
The permanent cap on UK visas is set to be enforced April 2011, while the provisions of the cap have not been revealed yet.
