Press release from: teleBIZZ

/ PR Agency: teleBIZZ
Plymouth, United Kingdom (19 November, 2010) - teleBIZZ, South-West based contact centre and leading providers of virtual office services, have brought a new marketing manager onto their staff.

As the new marketing manager, Alison Bartlett has experience within outbound calling services and is working to a brief to increase this side of the business. teleBIZZ have already secured new contracts from Tourism and Printing sectors since Alison joined the company.

Alison Bartlett commented: “With the current economic downturn, so many companies are cutting back on their marketing budgets, just at a time when they need new business the most. This puts those companies who use this marketing medium at a distinct advantage. Bringing back the personal touch is so important and whatever the size of the business, people still deal with other people first and foremost. Email marketing is a cost-effective communication tool to use in conjunction with other forms of marketing.

“We also find that building relationships over the phone is a missing link for so many companies, either because they do not have someone who enjoys ‘telemarketing’ or they just don’t have the time to ensure that it is part of their regular planned marketing. Quite simply, it works! If you ask most businesses where some of their best business comes from, it very often started with a conversation. Most companies know they should be doing more outbound calling but unless they outsource the job, it rarely gets done in a structured way.”

teleBIZZ only accept business to business telemarketing and are very selective about the outbound call handling campaigns they take on. MD Gillie Scherr commented: “We don’t do the hard sell and certainly only accept campaigns that we feel are targeted at people who would genuinely benefit from the service offered. We put ourselves in customers’ shoes and if the campaign is going to irritate people, be irrelevant or carry a high risk of negative reaction, we discourage it. People welcome calls from companies who genuinely can help them solve a problem or save them money, and our team really enjoys building strong relationships on behalf of our clients. It must be a win-win all round to make it work. With Alison on board, this is a fantastic growth opportunity for our company too.”
