ISO 9001 Opens New Doors For mailBIZZ
teleBIZZ carries an ISO 9001 accreditation, a certification granted by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) after a company has been independently audited and deemed to be applying formalized business processes.
They believe that the ISO credit has been a key factor in their new opportunities, which include two new contracts in the wake of Tourism budget cuts of up to 35%. It is cheaper for brochure fulfilment to be carried out by a mailing house in place of employing in-house staff specifically for this purpose.
“Public funded budget cuts have meant a great boost to companies who offer outsourcing services,” commented Gillie Scherr, Managing Director. “What surprised us, however, was that our ISO 9001 accreditation has actually been seen almost as a USP (Unique Selling Point). Being accredited is a ‘must’ for most public sector work tenders, and we have been amazed by how few mailing houses have got this type of accreditation.”
