The band will debut its first performance at in 2011 on 27th May in Manchester at MEN Arena, next to Birmingham at 29th May and then May 31st in London. The “Smooth Operator” singer’s huge British fan base have been anticipating this tour for a long time as her last tour was to US in 2001 where she performed in front of 1,000,000 people across the US. However UK fans got the live act of singer on May 1993 at London’s Royal Albert Hall back. So this UK tour is the opportunity for them to catch this rare live act of the Sade. She will perform her supreme hit songs from - ‘Smooth Operator’, ‘No Ordinary Love’ - and ‘The Sweetest Taboo’ and ‘Soldier of Love. These rare dates are specifically arranged for her huge UK fan base as she has been extremely popular in UK since her first album ‘Diamond Life’ reached in the Top 10 on both the official UK Top 40 and US Billboard’s Top 200 Album Charts, and there was no looking back after that.
The husky voice singer will perform more than 70 concerts next year in the top arenas around the world. It’s because her latest album “Soldier of Love” stayed on number one position in countries including US, Canada, Switzerland, France, Italy, United Arab Emirates, Poland, Greece, Japan, Portugal and Spain.
