Rod Stewart celebrated his 66th birthday in January 2011 but British singer/songwriter does not seem to be in mood to say goodbye to music industry. During his five decades music career he has sold over 160 million units across the world and now he is going to delight his fans with his 2011 "Heart and Soul Tour" along with the Queen of Rock and Roll, Stevie Nicks. Both Rod and Stevie announced their combined tour in January and it spread a wave of amusement among their fans as both singers have been named as the best selling artists during their 50 years of music contribution.The "Heart and Soul Tour" is started on Sunday, March 20, 2011 and the ladies first phenomenon Ms. Stevie opened the tour for Stewart. The debut place for their new tour is Bank Atlantic in Ft. Lauderdale; FL. Nicks performed some of her greatest solo hits, her tracks with the Fleetwood Mac and a new track "Secret Love" from her upcoming album “In Your Dreams”. After her, Rod performed his rock hits.
Through Rod Stewart’s popularity comes from his musical background but one thing that adds spice on this is his relationships with women. The 66 year old rock star fathered eighth children with five women and just after his 66th birthday on January 10, he was blessed with a son on February 16, 2011. They were his three daughters who suggested the Stevie Nicks name as his 2011 tour partner that he immediately approved as they all love this music diva.
During their tour both Rod and Stevie will cover US, UK and Canadian cities including Tampa, New York, Boston, Montreal, Toronto, Chicago, Los Angeles, New Burry, Leeds, Aberdeen and Torun in Poland. The highly anticipated concert by duo is at Hyde Park, London where they will perform at the annual musical festival, Hard Rock Calling.
