Wisconsinmade.com Donates to Wisconsin Breast Cancer Organizations
The Wisconsin Breast Cancer Coalition is recognized as the premiere resource for information on breast cancer policy issues. Since 1994, the WBCC has initiated programs to inform the public about critical breast cancer issues and to influence legislative policy for the benefit of women with breast cancer. The Wisconsin Breast Cancer Coalition maximizes its effectiveness in these areas by partnering with other health and service organizations. These combined efforts have significantly increased funding for cancer research on both the state and national level, and improved access to quality care and treatment for all people.
The Breast Cancer Recovery Organization provides environments for women in which to heal emotionally, spiritually and physically from breast cancer. Through its flagship program, Infinite Boundaries, the Breast Cancer Recovery Organization offers four-day wellness retreats for women diagnosed with breast cancer. The Breast Cancer Recovery Organization also sponsors awareness and educational programs, including the annual Sharing the Knowledge conference. The conference is designed for breast cancer survivors, caregivers and oncology professionals and held in Madison, Wisconsin.
