KTS Wins New IT Support Contract with DEA

Chantilly, VA., June 1, 2010- The US Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has awarded Koniag Technology Solutions (KTS) a five (5) year IDIQ (base +4 option years) support contract for Information Technology (IT) support services. This IDIQ, which is new business within the Department of Justice (DOJ)/DEA for KTS, includes an initial Task Order of $13.2 million and has a $62.6 million ceiling over the life of the contract.

As part of this contract the KTS Team, in partnership with our strategic Teammate CACI, will support two offices within DEA - the Office of Information Systems (SIB) and the Operations and Support Section (SIO). Within SIB, KTS will provide thought leadership in the application of technology to business problems of the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), which includes best industry expertise in Capital Planning and Portfolio Management, Enterprise Architecture, and IT Management guidance and regulations. Moreover, for the SIO, the KTS Team will provide management support for the daily operation of the Sterling Park Technology Center (SPTC), supporting mobile computing devices, managing the configuration of network enterprise, and customized software applications ensuring operational readiness of the DEA’s IT enterprise.
