Renowned climate change experts join 3C

Bad Vilbel, December 8, 2006. On December 1, 2006 Clemens Hüttner and Fritz Wilhelm have joined Bad Vilbel based climate change and carbon investment group 3C.

Clemens Hüttner is the head of 3C’s new Carbon Investment Advisory department and is in this respect providing his expertise to fund managers interested in innovative investment opportunities in climate related financial products. Prior to his engagement at 3C Hüttner coordinated the global emission trading activities of HeidelbergCement AG. Fritz Wilhelm is 3C’s new head of Corporate Communication. He came from European Energy Exchange AG (EEX) where he had been holding the same position.

Since October 1, 2006 Dr. Michael Schmalholz is leading 3C’s Corporate Centre. He formerly worked at Munich based FutureCamp GmbH.

With the new entrants 3C is consequently impelling its development to one of the leading companies in the field of climate change, emissions management and carbon investment. By re-organising its corporate structure 3C has entered this path. Under the roof of 3C Holding AG the enterprise is now based on two entities located in Bad Vilbel near Frankfurt, Berlin and Santiago de Chile:

3C Consulting GmbH with its Carbon Investment Advisory Department provides the link between carbon commodity markets and financial markets and offers fund managers comprehensive expertise on Carbon Funds and the project based Kyoto-mechanisms. Furthermore it assists companies in their efforts to compensate their greenhouse gas emissions.

3C Markets AG, founded in spring 2006, provides consulting services to the industry regarding tailor-made emission trading strategies.
