Bilcare, Ltd. / India to invest Euro 10 million in Europe
Frankfurt/Main, November 22, 2006. Bilcare Ltd. specializing in pharmaceutical packaging and clinical trial services announced to invest Euro 10 million and begin its manufacturing operations in Europe in mid 2007. The final decision for the location will happen shortly. In 2005 Bilcare Ltd. started with its first European Sales and marketing office in Frankfurt/Main. This announcement comes in just over a month after Bilcare acquired DHP Limited, a UK based clinical trial services provider in September 2006.The company residing in Pune (India) is expanding her worldwide net of operations in Singapore, Brazil, USA, UK and now also in mainland Europe.Bilcare has a wide range of films and innovations such as protection against counterfeiting, child safety, senior friendliness and tailor made designs. They have a proven and well accepted technologies aimed at the reduction of the technological complexity which will result in cost advantages for drug packaging.

The facility planned, equipped with state-of-the-art R&D Centre along with downstream film & foil manufacturing and printing facility is expected to commence commercial operations in mid 2007.
