Jesse Adam Markos Joins Wachler & Associates, P.C.
Royal Oak, Mich. - Jesse Adam Markos has joined Wachler & Associates, P.C. as an associate. Wachler & ASsociates Managing Partner Andrew B. Wachler made the announcement.Markos received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Wayne State University Law School in 2008 where he served as an Assistant and Associate Editor for the Wayne Law Review and was elected to the Order of the Coif, an honor society for high achievers in the legal field. He attended law school on a full academic scholarship as a Dean's Scholar and Lombard Leadership fellow and graduated fifth in his class. Among the academic honors he received during law school were the Ira J. Spoon Scholarship for outstanding achievement in Property Law and the Bruce A. Miller Family Scholarship for outstanding achievement in Labor Law. Markos received his Bachelor of Arts in political science, cum laude, from Western Michigan University in 2004.
He practices in all areas of healthcare law and devotes a substantial portion of his practice to representing providers in the Medicare and other third party payor audit appeals process. He also provides assistance to clients in transactional, corporate, and regulatory matters. He is admitted to the State Bar of Michigan as well as the United States District Courts for the Eastern District of Michigan. He lives in Canton with his wife, Amy, and son, Adam.
