Wachler appeared with three other experts on Medicare appeals at the American Health Lawyers Association's Institute on Medicare and Medicaid Payment Issues in Baltimore, MD, on March 25th. The workshop, titled Medicare Claims Appeals Advanced Workshop, educated attendees about remedies for Recovery Audit Contractor claim denials, appeal strategies, evidence and hearing presentation techniques, and related issues.
