Alliance Health Center promotes its newly launched “Let’s Be Therapeutic” campaign throughout its facility

MERIDIAN, Miss. – (April 15, 2009) – Alliance Health Center, a Psychiatric Solutions, Inc. (PSI) facility, recently kicked off a new, facility-wide campaign titled “Let’s Be Therapeutic.” Through the campaign, staff members are encouraged to focus on how their department or unit affects patient care, makes patient experiences more therapeutic and helps patients find hope, healing and recovery for emotional wounds.

“At Alliance Health Center, we recognize the importance of each staff member in the overall treatment of every patient,” said Bill Patterson, chief executive officer. “All employees, no matter what their position, make a difference in every patient’s healing experience.”

As part of the campaign, the facility’s 14 departments and 7 units participated in a poster contest to describe specifically what they do to be therapeutic for the patients. Every poster focused on core principles of Alliance Health Center, including communication, compassion, individualized treatment, and structure and consistency.

The campaign is an extension of the facility’s overall mission to embrace hope, healing and recovery for patients through the CARE method. This includes Compassion for patients and their families, Accountability for performance, Respect for patients, employees, health professionals and the communities, and Ethics, to always do the right thing.
