VernissageTV covers Art Cologne 2010 art fair and shows video art

Basel, April 8, 2010 – As media partner of Art Cologne, VernissageTV art tv will cover Art Cologne 2010. The fair for modern and contemporary art will take place in Cologne, Germany from 21st to 25th April 2010.

VernissageTV will provide its viewers with atmospheric shots from the fair, recordings of art talks, and in-depth interviews with artists, curators and dealers. The program will be shown on the websites of Art Cologne, Open Space, and VernissageTV and its partner channels. The videos will also be screened in the Lounge area of the fair itself (Hall 11.3). Apart from the Art Cologne coverage, VernissageTV will present a video art program.

Like last year, VernissageTV's open studio and screening area is located in the Lounge area of the Open Space section in Hall 11.3 of the fair.

About Art Cologne
The 2010 edition of Art Cologne is scheduled for 21-25 April 2010. The Fair, revamped and successfully relaunched in spring 2009, has been successful both in winning back important galleries as exhibitors and in integrating young galleries. About Open Space
The 6th Edition of the unique art environment Open Space involves 44 international galleries with latest projects and solo shows of contemporary art at the 44th Art Cologne. International galleries with a current program of advanced contemporary art present a singular artistic position and/or outstanding work of art. Participants will be expressly invited and selected by the curatorial committee for Open Space. All participants and presentations will be combined to an unique environment of contemporary art. As special projects, Open Space features Circus Hein, Silberkuppe, and Supportico Lopez. Open Space is located in Hall 11.3 of Art Cologne 2010.
