Open Source Project Leadership Software on Sourceforge

Graz, November 2, 2006 - Onepoint Project is the first open source project leadership software solution integrating project planning, controlling, monitoring and reporting into a single, easy-to-use Web 2.0 application. The solution focuses mainly on single project management, but provides also a number of practical features of so-called project and portfolio management systems (PPM). The main target group for Onepoint Project is medium-sized high tech project teams, but the solution works well in all environments where people are the major “resource type”.

From a technical perspective, Onepoint Project is very flexible, including a customizable user interface (built on XML) and plug-able module- and reporting systems; this allows for the solution to adapt to the project organization instead of the other way round which in turn results in higher acceptance by the project team members.

Professional documentation and support is available by upgrading to Onepoint Project Team Edition which provides advanced project leadership functionality important for larger consulting and development projects while the GPL-licensed Open Edition focuses on small project teams.
