direct/ Eureko B.V. (NL) - EUREKO ANNOUNCES GREAT SUCCES OF ITS PERPETUAL CAPITAL SECURITIES ISSUE, TARGETED AT RETAIL INVESTORS
1 November 2006Eureko B.V. ("Eureko"), the Netherlands-based insurance group, has today issued EUR 600 million of Perpetual Capital Securities with a fixed coupon of 6% at an issue price of 100 per cent. Standard & Poor´s Rating Services rated the issue ´BBB´ which is listed on Eurolist of Euronext Amsterdam N.V.
Approximately 92% of the issuance was placed with retail investors, mainly in the Benelux and Switzerland, and approximately 8% was placed with institutional investors.
The whole issue was more than two times oversubscribed.
The issue will be used for Eureko´s general corporate purposes. The terms are designed to allow the issue to become part of Eureko´s regulatory capital under anticipated Dutch regulatory rules, with an expected "Tier 1" equivalent treatment.
