Press release from: CONRIC PR & Marketing

Taco Tuesday is so yesterday. The real treat is now Authentic Taco Thursday at Gather, Cape Coral’s newest premier waterfront dining spot. Every Thursday starting at 3 p.m., tacos are just $3 and margaritas are $5.

Better yet, there’s a way to score a free taco. Just take a picture of your Gather taco, post it to Facebook and tag Gather. That’s just part of the September excitement at the restaurant on 5971 Silver King Blvd., right at the front of Tarpon Point Marina.

Gather brings music to your ears every Saturday from 7-10 p.m. Live music by the versatile DJ Malike is on tap for Sept. 8, and on Sept. 15, the acoustic sounds of Jeff Lyons will waft through the evening air. Singer-songwriter Obe Gonzalez brings a mix of covers and originals to the stage on Sept. 22.

Saturday, Sept. 29 will be extra special. That’s when Gather’s one-of-a-kind Oyster Social returns with live music by DJ Malike along with enjoy mouthwatering food from the Rollin’ Raw Bar. Enjoy it all while you sip on a cold drink made by one of Gather’s acclaimed mixologists.

The action continues during the week as well. Wines are 50 percent off every Wednesday, and on Wednesday, Sept. 26, Gather’s monthly wine-tasting will take place from 5-6:30 p.m. Six wines and assorted cheeses will be available for just $30 during the reservation-only event.

Plus, Gather’s remarkable summer lunch special has been extended through the month of September. An unbeatable soup-and-sandwich deal continues from 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays featuring these combos:

Tuesdays: Lobster bisque and lobster cake sandwich

Wednesdays: Tomato basil and grilled cheese

Thursdays: Clam chowder and croissant BLT

Fridays: Chili and chicken wrap

The specials at Gather don’t stop there — if you live in Cape Coral, show your driver’s license at the bar from 4-7 p.m. and receive one free appetizer when you purchase one of Gather’s famous craft cocktails.

Get ready to celebrate during the month of October as Gather prepares for its one-year anniversary. A big party is in the works for Friday, Oct. 19, so mark your calendar. October will also mark the start of Gather’s once-a-month ultimate Bloody Mary Bar. Keep up with all the happenings online at gathercape.com and facebook.com/gathercape.
