CMS Academy announces admissions to its 11-month PG Diplomas in Convergence Journalism and Strategic Communication (2010- 2011)

CMS Academy of Communication and Convergence Studies announces admissions to its 11-month PG Diplomas in Convergence Journalism and Strategic Communication. Admission is strictly on the basis of performance in entrance test and interview. Minimum qualification is graduation with 50% marks. Those who are in final year of graduation can also apply. Convergence Journalism
This full time 1-month course is aimed towards creating highly competent professionals with the ability to report, write, edit and deliver news in any and all media. The course emphasizes on how to tailor an effective news story for diverse media platforms including print, broadcast, web, PDA and cell phone. It is an intensive programme that trains youngsters to be a new-age reporter, anchor, editor and broadcaster. Students can do their specialization in Business Journalism or environment Journalism

Strategic Communication
The Strategic Communication programme of CMS Academy prepares students for careers of effective, strategically oriented communication executives and entrepreneurs. It is a skill based programme in corporate communications, advertising, public relations and social marketing. Students can go for specialization in Marketing Communication or Communication for Social Change.
