Summer heats up at Gather with specials, events throughout July

The celebration of summer is in full swing across Southwest Florida, and there’s no better place to enjoy it than Gather, Cape Coral’s newest premier waterfront dining spot. Enjoy a month filled with mouthwatering food and drink specials accompanied by great music and an inspired atmosphere in a gorgeous setting at the entrance to Tarpon Point Marina.

In a new twist for food truck fans, Gather will be serving up some of their favorites inside the restaurant, starting with an Oyster Special featuring selections from the Rollin’ Raw Bar on Saturday, July 14 from 5-9 p.m. Gather’s mixologists will be handling the drinks, and DJ Malik will be on hand to keep the party pumping with the latest tunes.

Summer breakfast and lunch specials continue Tuesdays through Fridays the entire month of July. For the early riser, buy one breakfast item get one free from 8-11 a.m. For the lunch crowd, try a soup-and-sandwich for just $10 Tuesdays through Fridays. These enticing combos are exquisitely paired and available from 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m. at the restaurant on 5971 Silver King Blvd:

Tuesdays: Lobster bisque and lobster cake sandwich

Wednesdays: Tomato basil and grilled cheese

Thursdays: Clam chowder and croissant BLT

Fridays: Chili and chicken wrap

Wineday Wednesdays bring a little relief to help you over the workweek hump with 50 percent off your favorite wine. Plus, the always-popular monthly wine tasting takes place on Wednesday, July 25. Six wines and assorted cheeses will be available for just $30 during the reservation-only event that runs from 5-6:30 p.m.

Authentic Taco Thursdays heat up pre-weekend festivities with a fantastic special. Come in to Gather, order a taco, post a picture of it on Facebook or Instagram using #tacoboutit and get a FREE taco. And wash down those delicious tacos with our $5 margaritas.

Then, start the Christmas season early — as in five months early — with Gather’s Christmas in July on Friday, July 27. Whether you’ve been naughty or nice, you’ll get to unwrap some great “gifts” like food and drink specials along with live music from one of Southwest Florida’s top musicians.

The Christmas in July weekend wraps up on Sunday, July 29 with one of the area’s top brunch buffets from 10 a.m.-3 p.m., featuring Cape Coral’s best mimosas and DJ German Garcia spinning the hits. Reservations are required.

Close out the month with flaming libations, coffee-infused concoctions and spicy spirits at the Bartender’s Dinner on Tuesday, July 31, featuring senior mixologist Jeremy Vincent and chefs Fabrice Deletrain and Benjamin Voisin. Get a taste of Southwest Florida’s newest mixed drink sensation, dubbed Blood, Sugar, Sex, Magic, as well as other favorites, like the Carbonated Cosmo and the Hibiscus Fizz, all prepared by Jeremy and his team of mixologists.

And, if you live in Cape Coral, Gather has an exclusive special just for you. Show your driver’s license at the bar and receive one free appetizer when you purchase one of

Gather’s famous craft cocktails.

As always, everyone 21 and over can enjoy Happier Hour every Tuesday through Sunday from 4-7 p.m. Specials include $5 craft beer, $5 glasses of house wine, $5 call liquors and $8 craft cocktails.
